Sonic '06 2D: Kingdom Valley S Rank

My guide on how to S rank the stage Kingdom Valley in Sonic '06 2D, with a time of 3' 15" 80, and a score of 64,080 (you need 50,000 points for the S rank). This stage is odd, because although you can rack up a lot of points, its really not that easy to S rank. If you get hit anytime during the second section, you won't have enough rings for the S rank, but unfortunately, the second section is much harder than the first. Still, if you play your cards right, there are a lot of points to be had in this stage, and it is one of the funner stages as well.

Some tips to keep in mind:

-At the beginning, slide kick all the way down. It'll keep your momentum going.

-If you want to, after the two rainbow rings, you can go back and kill all those robots. It'll get you a lot of points that you might need for the S rank.

-For the lightspeed dash trail right after the first wall running, do not hit that dash panel right before it. You'll most likely be going too fast to hit the rings, and fall right into the bottomless pit.

-If you can't grab those rings on the second wall running section, don't bother. Just hold up and bypass them all.

-Those two big arm shooting robots can be a real pain if you attack them from the front. Just spindash behind them and take them out from behind.

-At the very end, it is quite hard to get all of the enemies disposed of before the arm shooting robot shoots his arm at you. Homing attack them all as fast as you can, and you should get to the arm shooting robot just as he is cocking and preparing to shoot. At this point, bounce attack and he won't shoot his arm.
