THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video! I tried QEMU and VirtualBox and had no luck. I didn't know that only OS 12 worked with Windows though, so that could have been what caused the issues. Thanks again! You rock!

Finally someone who explained the CPU compatibility problem first. Switched to VMWare from VirtualBox, just to get it to work. No hope on VirtualBox

Thank you Sir very much, it's working for me.

I made these simple changes:
1. When editing the vmx file, use "simple double quotes" instead of "beautiful quotes" as indicated in the article.
2. The system to choose is MacOS 12.
3. In the settings of the VM, under "USB Controllers" change the compatibility to the highest (2.0 or 3.0) so it will detect the mouse and the keyboard.

i got a issue while installing macOS, it says i need to connect a mouse to actually proceed, but i have one connected already, and when i select ''continue'' in the install process, it just doesn't work
