If you think it’s a K, it might be C and if you think it’s Grande, like a starbucks size, then chances are, you’re wrong. Sorry to burst your bubble. Of course, whether it’s wrong or right, these stars still play nice and love their fans but it’s time to give them what they deserve. Grande is Grahn-deh in Italian (like Starbucks). Grand-ee is an anglicized pronunciation, which was common for immigrants to do years ago. I'm surprised that people still enforce mispronunciation of their own name. Chrissy Teigen is actually keeping the phonetics German with Tie-gen instead of Tee-gen

I saw the full interview for the one about Ariana. I’m pretty sure she said that her grandpa’s name is Gran-dee but she decided to change it to grande for her stage name.

sorry to break it guys, Ariana grande descendants are Italian hence it's pronounced GRANDE and not gran-dee.similarly to zucchine and not zucchinii, grazie and not graz- iee.

They also missed Sarah Michelle Gellar.She was very famous in the late 90s and early 00s, mostly known for portraying the iconic role of "Buffy Summers" on the hit-teen show "Buffy the Vampireslayer" (1997-2003)🧛‍♂️🧛‍♀️🗡⚰. Actually, this show is a real classic and one of the most famous shows of all time. However, her last name is always pronounced wrong but she rarely addressed that on her TV appearances (I mean there was no social media). The -e is pronounced differently, I don't know how to write the pronounciation of the last name, it is too complicated.😂

Did you actually watch the Jake Gyllenhaal interview with Conan. It isn’t the hard G. He actually says the pronunciation in the interview. It’s very foreign sounding and not at all the phonetic way you said it’s pronounced.

Well, there's a Victoria Secrets model from my country that you guy also pronounce wrong. Gisele Bündchen is her name but even here where she came from we have a wrong pronunciation, I mean it's a German surname and we have "nationalized" her name, but in German they have a totally different pronunciation.

I find it ironic and hysterically funny that in a video on how to properly pronounce celebrity names, several are mispronounced:

1. Ka ME la Ca BAY o - correct on screen, narrator then mispronounces it Ka Mi La
2. Charlize Theron herself explained the two ways she pronounces it, THAIR uhn is correct, but THRONE was the original way.
3. Chiwetel Ejiofor is ChEE wa tell EDGY-O for - incorrect on screen and by narrator

Also, it's CAST not CASTED. This video is a mess 🤣

It’s Gran-deh not Gran-dee. Just because she and her family want to pronounce it the American way and go by the way they want, it’s not how she’s saying. Her last name was around way before she was born into it and those family members who came as immigrants probably had it one way and little by little they changed it to sound more “American” But she and her family can say it how she wants it of course, but it is GRAN-DEHHHH
