Webinar: Power Module Reliability - Power Cycling

preview_player
Показать описание
Power module reliability could be limited by its ability to withstand repeated load cycles. This webinar introduces the concept of power cycling, its effect on power semiconductor modules, and shows how to predict when a module may fail.

Key Take-Aways:

✔ Learn about the main failure modes related to power cycling.
✔ Understand how to apply the latest power cycling lifetime model in your application.
✔ See examples of how packaging technology can improve lifetime.

Excellent presentation, our plant uses a LOT of Lenze inverter drives, everytime the system experienced a power cycle, at least one drive will either has its parameter settings screwed up, or address (LECOM, CAN) messed up or most commonly, the total failure of the drive. Just the Lenze drives alone constitute almost 30% of the entire yearly maintenance budget, furthermore, obsoleted models cost higher than new models if you can believe it...

But, voltage across collector and emiter should be decreses during heating phase. Shokley equation shows that voltage decreasing when temperature is increasing.
And how can we determine temperature based on forward voltage. If temperature calibration done with measurment current which is much lower then load current.
