I have reviewed the Sonnet in the past and while this particular version doesn't change all too much, the new mounting system is great. I do consider this more of a side upgrade or more of a 1.5 release rather than a 2.0.

I held off on pulling the trigger on the Sonnet. After seeing the other boards from Mode, I had a feeling they were going to refresh the mounting on the Sonnet. Ordering my board now, Nice Video!

I'm loving that they chose to update the Sonnet without really changing much since it's such a good board! The special colorways look killer, as do their "regular" offerings. Bummer though I was kinda hoping you'd try the copper plate. I've been curious about copper plates as they're not offered very frequently. That said, we've been seeing them more and more lately yet basically none of the content creators are using one in their builds so we still have little idea of what their characteristics are going to be like on different boards and/or with different mounting styles. Maybe next time?

im a fan of 75 this is indeed one of the best sounding and good looking 75, its bad timing that few ago my new 65 from mode just got delivered. i wish i new it earlier

Things have changed so much in the hobby since I bought the original sonnet and 350+ for a 75% just seems in insane in 2024... especially when cycle8 will be sub $200. Mode is middle-tier at best... they need to price accordingly.

I bought this over TGR Tomo and used TGR 910 v2 me. Hopefully it was a worthy decision!!

The Sonnet looks very nice, but I can't imagine paying that much for a board with a polycarbonate bottom. I'm considering the Sonnet, but I'm also considering the Neo 75 Cu. Honestly the Neo kind of looks prettier to me, and it having a tri-mode PCB and many more color options, plus the ball-catch mechanism seems liek it would be a better interim option for me to figure out what kind of plates I like etc. I don't know why the Sonnet doesn't have a Silver option, that seems like a baffling omission for such an expensive board. I want a monochrome board this time I think, as I don't know if my next PC will be black or white and I want things to match, so it's basically a choice betweeen black, silver, or white, and I'm leaning silver at the moment.

The sonnet layout is the best 75 layout. If I could justify this price for a keyboard this one would be on my shortlist but I can't so it's not.

would be cool if you could test lattice blocks with V1 parts, In the mode discord they're "technically" compatible but I wonder if the sound is different at all
