I learned to program in R, when the developers take the time to write documentation with example code, a few explanation paragraphs, and then cite a book for furter information.
I didn't knew I was very lucky.

The strife of code is Documentation is written by those who already know what a thing does in a way that only serves as a reminder to those who already know and need not learn it. Everyone else is punished for needing to learn it it not knowing it.

Yeah, documentation may be a nightmare. I have always wondered if everyone just pretend they understand the documentation of methods inside the libraries and packages or if people actually get what it's about. It's unreadable for me now. Programming books may be more readable but even "Clean Code" and TTD offer some hard time once in a while when I go back to them to decipher the author's intentions...

The only documentation I can read is pygame other wise I have better luck just writing a bunch of nonsense and figuring it out though trial and error

ChatGPT taught me curve fitting. Well it taught me all i know from pandas, scipy, numpy, sklearn and matplotlib lol. Well it failed to teach me RANSAC so I still don't know how to use that.
