We as parent have to end the cycle. In the back of my mind i am always thinking kids dont listening to what you say they watch what you do. Sending prayers to this father 🙏🏽

Biggest regret of my life is choosing the street life over family life. I now have two sons who all but know what I look like and we have never spent anytime together being a family. My fault not theirs and so now I have to live with that choice. Nothing is more important than family!

Edit: Thank you guys 1.4k likes in four days is crazy but appreciated!

This is such a sad story . My biggest regret is fucking up and going away while my kids were little but when I got home I straightened my shit out and got my kids back and I just been trying to be in their lives as much as I can . Just being around helps a lot bro it’s been years the scars remain but we change ❤❤😊😊

I feel ya brother. I spent 13 years in prison. I have 7 kids and only have a meaningful relationship with 2 of them. Some were adopted and the others don't talk to me. I've tried to make up with them for the time that I was gone but to no avail. I turned my life around the best that I can- grew up in an orphanage so I knew nothing of parenting. I got to raise my youngest son from birth and he is an awesome kid- I wouldn't have what I have now if I didn't change. I accept all responsibility for my failures as a parent. I hope and prey everyday that my kids have more of their mothers qualities than mine. Thank you God for all you have done in my

My father was actually a drug dealer and didn’t want to raise me and my brother the same way so he left town and got clean, 8 years after I was born he came back and we started visiting him every summer, best days of my life ❤

Yup, I use to deal because I wanted to be like my dad and family. Wanted to sell dope like him and asked him to put me on. Told me to stay in school and I just ended up dealing in college. My uncle another dealer would give me 🌲 all the time and say “as long as you stay in school you can do this”. He recently just got booked and sentenced to 40yrs in prison at the age of 43. I Finished college and now currently a 3rd year PharmD student. My entire family were dealers and i became a legal one thanks to them. It’s hard to try and break that cycle when you’re living that life. Its contradictory. It took an entire village to keep me on the path.

I thank god every day that my father was a good man and taught me how to stay away from that shit. Put me in a position to truly think about my decisions even when I was young and making mistakes he would correct me but also taught me how to learn from them so I didn’t end up in a situation like this video. God Rest Your Soul Pops❤️

Thats why i moved away from the lifestyle. Issue is once your in you cant get out except through death.
But through my troubles i found God and he changed me and took the burden from my heart i learned to forgive my "opps" and even called their main OG and told him straight up and as crazy as it sounds he forgave me of my doings and now im able to live without looking over my shoulder and now speak to the youth about gang life. God is good

my dad has been in prison since i was 4 and its crazy work he would send me letters all throughout my childhood about how ignorant and evil I was for "ignoring him"! the entitlement of some of these pieces of crap would blow your mind

This is why I encourage my son to be interested in technology and other things that takes him away from following in my footsteps I’ve done enough time for my kids to not have to do any time
