Could we please get a list of places to buy these, especially the ones at the higher end of the list? The only place I've found with consistent quality is STL and I'd really like to expand my collection.

I wanna learn to play Ocarina. I had some fun with Songbird 7-hole Ocarina of Time replica, but I quickly noticed that despite having less holes than classic 12-hole ocarinas, i feel like it's much harder to play. Because less holes, means weird combinations of fingers and like "half covering" some holes.

So now I want to get a classic single chamber 12-hole ocarina to buy and learn to play. What would be your recommendation? Bonus points if it's a Zelda replica but if I want good sound, and you think zelda replicas are a bad choice, please tell. I would love to get the Spencer Ocarina of Time but I see the shop doesn't work anymore. Please respond.

at the end of the day i went with the stl Zelda ocarina because of 1 i like the dark blue 2 the triforce on the tip just looks way better. after having it for like a year or more it sounds really good

My friend bought the Ocarina that you putted on the "bad" category. Is the blue one that you can find on Temu for 11 dollars. Should I get a better one ? Because I really want to learn about this instrument and get a good sound. Should I get a better ocarina ? And if thatis the case, Where can I buy a better one ? (Sorry for the bad english, I'm from Spain and I'm still learning this language haha)

Yay glad to see the songbird triple harmony as #1 😁. It's practically the only one I play nowadays. I hadn't considered that a bass ocarina fits better for jamming, gonna keep the imperial city triple bass in mind as a potential future purchase :)

I got one of those cheap ocarina of time replicas, but I think I got lucky in the fact that it actually does sound rather OK, and I’m pretty good at working with flawed products and making them work well anyways because I never really grew up with much money so I always knew how to make things work. Overall, I mainly just got it because I wanted to have the cool instrument from that video game I like, and it plays well enough to goof around and play the cool songs I like, but I might get an upgrade one day, who knows?

I'm Curious on your thoughts on the 12 Hole Plastic STL beginner Ocarina. I have it as my starter 12 hole - and also looking at getting a Night By Noble soon-ish, when I can pretty safely afford it.

Where did you get the Korean Night by Noble? I have the Japanese one (with the split subholes) but I can find one with same side subholes.

Ooooh they're on this list! I'm glad the soprano maker reached out to you! I'd even be happy to reprint that one. Mine have been sounding quite nice imo. I genuinely think you'd appreciate them. A resin printer would probably make them perfect. But I don't have one of those yet.

Would like to see your take on the Tenrai Ocarina of Time if you ever manage to get your hands on one. They don't sell them anymore and I'm quite fortunate to have gotten one before they stopped selling.

The unknown Ocarina you got from your friend around the 15-minute mark looks like a Karl Schwarz Ocarina out of Austria.
