I thought it was a box to catch your stones off of the platforms. Your dad is a badass.

You should attach a rope to the opposite end and have a tug-o-war challenge with the BUGEZ, OR CLARENCE, OR TOM

7:23 The tail-mounted camera on Gym Cat was a brilliant idea. Revolutionary

Run a threaded metal rod on either side of where the stone would be and through two pieces of wood like you have near the end of the video. That way you can use bolts and basically clamp the stone in place

MufuDad made a stone boat! We used to use a stone boat behind a team of horses (cue the horse masks:) on the farm to move rocks and logs out of the field. Old school, I love it.

Juji, this has nothing to do with a diy, but I just got back from a trip with the family, the gym in the hotel, your basic treadmill, oliptical, hammer strength machines and some dumbbells. But they had a mini fridge set to like 36 degrees full of pre moistened towels. Fucking game changer bro. I have a GWR for kettle bell lifting, and I’m 6’4”, 350, bald and tattoo covered, and I openly wept after my workout when I used the towels. Just amazing

People say never meet your heroes, because you will likely be disappointed. Well when I meet you today I couldn't have been more happy. You are an extremely genuine man, and I thank you for that!

I have an idea inspired from one of the comments - you make a hat for the stone! Take for example a square plywood piece and cut a circular hole in the middle not too big - fit this over the top of the stone, and it will fit several size stones - and on each corner of the square plywood have hardware to attach bungee or chain (or rope) to secure to the sled. Since it's a "hat" it fits over the stone and holds different sizes. It can move around a bit no problem but it will keep the stone centered. It's easy to remove and adjust, also it's not holding the stone from below but holding it from above, the stone can't roll off.

How about using a piece of ply would with a hole cut into the center that you could put on top of the stone, then support it with some detachable bars. The hole in the center of the ply wood would hold the ball in one place but because you can take off the support beams you can change what stone you're holding.

I normally don't comment but since I'm working my way through ALL of your videos (starting mid-2017 anyway), felt like it was about time:

Mufu dad is awesome and y'all have such a cool relationship.

Okay that's it. Carry on!

Just throwing out ideas, but to hold it in place, could try a V formation from two blocks of wood in the back. Opposite of the ropes and braced against the sides and the rear. That will keep it stable during the pull when the ball rolls to the back. To keep it in place on the rebound and adjust for stone size, you could either do bands like you did, or have a block up against the stone with a large bolt connecting it in the front. To swap out rocks, you can just looses the nuts and adjust the bolt. More work than the bands but more #legit.
