A very different interpretation, yet it supposed to be. I interpret it as choosing what to keep to advance and what to leave off, if it doesn't serve you; ie, beliefs, mindsets, socially conditioned behavior or mores. For Swords represent air/ mind. ✌️

Yep I keep getting this card as a stalker card in relation to manifestation and I've probed further and it looks as if I was being told to think tactically, be smart to get the advantage.

the only time i really see this is about deceit is when the question specifically asks about a relationship between someone else and the inquisitor. another way i’ve come to approach it is by taking ideas from others to apply to your own process and leaving behind the ones that no longer suit you!
