Just as for the Jew the question of what does Isaiah 53 mean? Who is it speaking of? It is unanswerable and forbidden because it points so clearly to Jesus. So is the question to whom is the price paid? For the Christian it is unanswerable if you believe in the penal legal law view of Scripture. Mark Finley answered this question on YouTube and said the price was paid "to the universe". No answer makes sense unless you read the Bible and listen to Jesus's own words thru the understanding of design law. John 6:53 is now a beautiful answer. Thank you!!!

let's ponder the meaning of the word "sin" ... back to hebrew expression that translators interpret as sin ... it means rather " to miss a mark, to fail to understand " ... from this misunderstanding of God's character of agape love then comes our fear (of death & not enough, mindset of scarcity because we don't trust God) and all sorts of unloving thoughts, words, behaviour
