Why do they even try to rip off iconic shows? I mean, it’s mostly for the attention and money. But what’s the point of having negative attention? They could have made an original inspired to the actual show.

I'm going to be honest, I actually think the new one they made wasn't actually that bad. I feel like it's more of a comedy and that it's fun to laugh at the main character for how stupid they are but not necessarily that the writing is bad it's just that they make it so they are stupid on purpose. So what I'm trying to say is I don't think the actual production for this recent one is bad and I think the story is fine but I don't understand why it would necessarily be bad writing if they're making main character look bad on purpose.
