Smart thermostats are must have. I have the Honeywell one it only $80. It saved me around $35 a month this winter. I took a plumbing course over winter while I was healing my hand and in the course they told us to use the same type of pipe it's called rapid air maxline.

Little stuff like you pointed out is exactly why I watch these videos, love to see different/new ideas to use in the shop 👍

What a great shop. He talked, at about the 13:00 minute point, about how it was the dream to get the stuff from all the different places moved into one place, that is exactly where I am at! I need to amalgamate 4 garages into one shop! Ugh. Great video.

I love these shop tours! Great to hear other view points of those who have already done the build.

Awesome shop, as an owner I utilize everything. I’d suggest picking up a commercial grade tire machine! They really come in handy!

I'm super stoked to see this. It's a little smaller than my building, but doesn't appear that way. My shop space on my property is 36x36, and it just feels cluttered and disorganized because there was a separate room built inside that spans the entire length of the building, 10 foot wide. The whole building was done pretty poorly. When it comes time to replace the exterior I think I may rip the ceiling down, turn the room into a loft such as yours, and add a vehicle lift.

I do wish you guys went more in depth on the loft! The dividing room I've got has full 8ft ceilings, and the shop has a fully finished ceiling so the loft space is maybe 4ft tall.

Nice shop. I like the organization part. Everything has its own place. It makes the job you're doing more enjoyable when you can go right to what you need and not waste time rummaging around for a part or tool for 10 or 15 minutes. I like the mezzanine too. What are the mezzanine's dimensions?

These shop tours are exactly what I was looking for! I just built a 40x48 and it occurred to me I don’t really know what layout I’m wanting!

That blue coated aluminum airline is good stuff and easy to assemble. I work at a machine shop and in the original building we have copper lines and in the newer area of the shop we have the blue line. It's a lot bigger of course.

Good vid Brian, very nice shop I can def appreciate the effort put in. Also good balance of speed moving/taking listening etc in this video kept a good flow. No awkward moments etc.
