Hallett Motor Racing Circuit - 1.8CCW - Lotus Exige

The gang and I made the 4hr drive from DFW to Jennings, Oklahoma. Five ~15min sessions a day. It was cloudy and humid,~60degF. Saturday the 1st few sessions were moist and I had old front tires. Sunday was completely rained out.

This was my FIRST trip to this track. There was a lot of traffic (25+cars, all skill levels) so I only got a few full speed laps to try to learn the track. I was just starting to not feel lost when the day ended.

What I did learn was that I REALLY enjoyed this track and the nice people. I hope to visit again soon!

Update: Nov 20, 2016- I returned for my 2nd attempt! Best lap was 1.26.71. Tires were R7 with 21 heat cycles. Temp in high 50degF.

Update: Nov 11, 2017 was my 3rd day at the track in this direction. In the few times I had a traffic free lap I ran several 1.26's, with a best of 01.26.102. Top MPH 108.70, Max LatG 1.43g. Temp was 53deg overcast 83% humidity. Hooser R7s with 17 heat cycles.

Wow. Cool... You got a nice long, low-speed look at that Mustang GT350. Such a fine car! I have been wanting an excuse to get up to Hallet (still have not been). You guys please let me know if you go again. I'll bring beer, or sausages, or gasoline... whatever. :) EDIT - The video was good, but needed more spin action.
