Before I lost my save data and gave up on NH, I used to ALWAYS plant 30K. I would either make 30k back or make 60k

The first time I dug up a Bell spot, it glitched and I got 30 000 Bells!

I still remember the first ever island I had when first playing New Horizons, I felt like I had hit the RNG jackpot because I was able to bury 99k bells and get that back pretty frequently in money trees. Then, I decided to reset and create a new island, and immediately, my RNG tanked and I would only get three 10k bell bags from a money tree when I'd bury 99k bells. Multiple resets and one console transfer later, I've never been able to grow a 99k bell money tree after having my first island of the game! 😅

I've also noticed times when I bury 11k or 15k in bells for a money tree, and if I time travel, it seems like it fucks with RNG and I only get a money tree with three 10k bell bags, whereas if I don't TT, I get the amount I buried back. I don't know if time travel actually has any effect on money trees, most likely not, but I think it would be a fun theory to see Koramora, the New Horizons Myth Buster, try out!

I always bury only 10k. That way I get 10k in each bag and I'm not risking anything
