After 30 years of Riding. Some years 10 thousand miles and 128 days logged on the seat. Best one day drive off 600 miles. I've used many different oils over the years. Worst to best( Castrol, Quater state, Lucas, Amsoil, Polaris gold & VES, Shell Advance ultra). I've stuck with Shell Advance snow ultra now for over 50 thousands miles and 10 years riding 7 Sleds and no blown motors due to Oil issues. No amount of Engineer time is going to sway me now.

I used Amsoil Interceptor and Sinto Performa (Canadian 2 stroke oil) Both oils bogged my RMK on top end ! Every time I got to 6500+ RPM my snowmobile bogged and went into a limp mode right until I left off the throttle then it would do it again when pinned... Just for kicks I was richer one day and bought VES gold... It was a night and day difference... No more bogging and a colder engine ! And the smile on my face was Priceless ! VES all the way now !

Getting a new XC 850 2019 soon. I've used Klotz in all machines for almost 20 yrs on mechanical & electronic oil pumps without failure. I will continue. Thanks for the "oil movie" though.

Happy to see this video gives us a peace of mine that we are not spending this type of money on oil. For nothing.

I keep hearing how great Ves Race oil was, Why would they get rid of that oil if it actually was so good? Thanks!!

How do they test for snow ingestion?? most failures I see stem from oil being washed from the intake side of the pistons...

Why are there no ratings or standards on the Polaris oil? Ie...JASO, ISO, API, etc...

Sounds like professionally scripted BS to me.

Можно ли мешать масло ves и ves extrim!?? Либо необходимо сперва слить полностью одно масло и после залить другое?? Can I mix ves and ves extrim oil!?? Or is it necessary to first drain completely one oil and then pour another??

The fact that he's wearing a Polaris shirt is all I need to know about this informational video. Buy a good quality oil and forget about the BS hype. When any manufacturer can show me none of their sleds blow up on factory oil I'll start paying 50% more for it..
