$2500 in Japan + at least $10k to import. I don't think it can be imported to the US until 25 years old. Once driven on US roads it will have blind spots like an old mail truck.

Considering you definitely can't get these for under 15k, the best value JDM car you can get in Australia is a V36 Skyline 350GT. 315hp, n/a V6, 5.5 second 0-100, plenty of aftermarket support, reliable, lots of luxurious features, handles very well with aftermarket suspension (also has a HICAS 4 wheel steering option), and you can get them for under 10k.

I love how slept on they are because "iTs nOt a ReAl sKyLiNe!", keeps prices super low for those who know how good they really are.

I'm assuming the 3.7k they quoted was the price they bought it for in Japan, before the additional fees + shipping which would be almost an extra 10k.

The car market in America is crazy right now. An older Lexus LS which is like a crown is going for between 8-15 grand. 20 year old Camrys are 5-8 grand.

I bought a used Tahoe and I freaking love it. So comfortable. 3 row seating. Has all the luxury components I need. Including the foot peddles move back for my long legs. The AC works great. 4wd with a 5.3L pushing 290 horse power from factory. It can move. Find an old vehicle with all the luxury items you need for cheap. I’m going to fix it up. These old 5.3’s are built like tanks. It only has 120k on it. So happy with it.

No car in the USA cost $2, 500 unless it's full of rust with 200k miles and needs a minimum of $2k to get it to pass inspection... otherwise sure 😂

Except the US can’t import the car until it’s 25 years old, Canada is 15 years. Gotta do the conversion to Canadian dollars.
