Got a theory, screech is actually a giggles infected by seek, and the “queen” could become a large screech we’ll find (and also I think the barrels are just there for candles)

Hey jack about the fire barrels they are used to light the candle if you have one equipped like in the hotel if you have a candle you can light it if you can find a fireplace!

7:19 nah it does make sense its just there just incase you have a candle in order to light it. And also i have a theory:if you die to a grumble guiding light will talk about some sort of nest and a queen, and there is a badge called trespassing, so i assume that this is some sort of colony, just like an ant's colony, the giggles are the normal ants, the grumbles are majors and alpha grumbles are like super majors a much stronger version of a grumble, and then there is the queen, and also ants mostly dig underground to build a colony and build paths to walk around, it is really similar to the door 150 area where there is paths going up and down, maybe in the floor 3 update the castle the boss fight will happen in the nest where there is the queen which will probably be rlly huge compared to the other ones and then her attacks will most likely be her throwing eggs at you and then hatch and start chasing you.

5:40 I encountered a maze like room today where you had to go underwater and would run out of breath. The logo for running out of breath and sticking your head down is a bit different, maybe one implies that you’re losing breath and one implies that you’re not losing or gaining breath.

Those barrels are probably there just like fireplaces are used to light the candles!! Since they don't light on there own anymore and also don't detect entities anymore so really I don't know the purpose of the candle!!

I have a theory: before monsters or anything weird happened the castle was used to be like an amusement park medieval themed place where the hotel customers can enjoy, but after the castle was builded they need to build like an underground stuff such as the Mines, i think the guys was trying to build a underground passage to the castle until its unfinished and abandoned and was used for a mining construction, i think there was a passage in the courtyard to the castle but i think the guys said "nah why dont we underground instead" so i think the castle was either an ancient medieval themed amusement park or just a literally an ancient castle.. also heres one of the floors theories made by me
The Rooms: just waking up in a room and u gotta go thru till A-1000.
The Hotel Lobby: you either arrived from the stairs before there is sea taking over or arrived from The Rooms.
The Backdoors: i think it was made for an escape passage for the hotel itself but it was abandoned. You wanna go there instead of using the Hotel Lobby's elevator.
The Hotel: You arrived from The Backdoors, or the Elevator.
The Mines: Welcome to the Abandoned Underground Passage that was used now to be a mining construction site.
The Castle: ...maybe its an ancient castle more than just an so-called "amusement ancient medeiveal themed" park?

That Grumble already had a scar before Door 150. Also it's bigger and has 2 extra tentacles
We assume it's either a Queen or some kind of soldier/alpha

(Answering why there is a scar on the grumbles head secret #9) when dying to a grumble for a second time guiding light would tell you there is multiple and they scavange their nest for predetors to protect the queen. This would mean that the grumble seek infects may be the queen. But remember thats just a theory A LEMON THEORY!

About the statue, my theory is that guiding light was actually the king of the castle.
