You really need to get into red Velvet. One of the top groups in the genre. Watch "Wildside" which is one of their newer Japanese releases. BANGER.

Aespa is great. A good starting point would be reacting to their song "Black Mamba" because there is also a storyline going through most of their mv's. That song has 1 of the best 'drops' ever.

They're very talented. NingNing and Winter are great vocalists, Karina and Winter are among the best dancers of this generation, and Giselle is a really good rapper (when they let her be). Their music is...divisive. I really enjoy it, but most of it is very overproduced and a lot of the lyrics require you to get invested in their metaverse concept. They have a whole film-like series dedicated to explaining their concept (SMCU) which would be great for a deep dive series.

They've also released a few songs outside of that concept: Forever, Life's Too Short and a cover of S.E.S.' Dreams Come True).

As far as I'm concerned, their best B-sides are Yeppi Yeppi and Illusion. Illusion is better than most of their title tracks.

They're all very, very funny and Giselle speaks perfect English (she went to an English speaking school in Japan) so a lot of their content is easily accessible for non-Korean speakers. They seem to be slowly moving away from the metaverse concept, so if that turns you off, it's still worth checking them out.

If this was one group, SM would have themselves another SNSD. I know no one can be SNSD, but in terms of talent and visuals, these girls are up there! As a SONE of 15y, I see it and can’t deny it. They are SO FREAKING TALENTED!!
