In case you people forgot the lore, the FBC actually purchased the entire show of Night Springs as we find a report of it in Control, so this is either them experimenting with it or something else out of their control entirely

I just finished the DLC and it has sent me on a spiral playing every Remedy game again since Alan Wake 1 with renewed interpretation. Masterful.
