Very much here for the Saoirse Ronan love. She had a absolutely terrific year with incredible performances in "The Outrun" & "Blitz". Also very happy to see Felicity Jones get a nomination aswell, i've been dying to see her get more love this award season. She was amazing in "The Brutalist".

Aren't you underestimating Fiennes' chances at the Oscars? Brody already has an Oscar, and Chalemet is still young. Fiennes' is a respected veteran getting his first nomination in 28 years, and he was snubbed for Grand Budapest Hotel.

1. Hugh Grant and S Ronan make sense because the BAFTAs favor the The UK and Ireland.

2. The BAFTAs have extra awards for British film and others.

3. Britain has a history of bigotry, for not just race, but views of certain positions in society.

I’m just so stoked The Brutalist is continuing to do well. Thrilled with its 9 nominations at BAFTA especially for Guy Pearce & Felicity Jones. They deserve to be included.

Anora, The Apprentice & The Substance are also my other favourite films of the year. Really glad they got recognition.
