If I could only have one bike for the rest of my life, it would be a Supermoto. It's not just the raw fun and silliness that comes with riding a dirt bike on the street, sidewalk, and wherever else... it's something deeper. These bikes remind you that you're just another monkey in this insane circus of a world, and that life is not something that you always have to take so seriously. Great video!

I loved my DT125X and it's 80's styling.

sick DT! I just rebuilt my DT 200R 3Et and I built a Yamaha Blaster with a 1987 DT200L 37f engine, with working ypvs, its a beast

More revs drop clutch more aggressively, get 1st gear nailed and then pop them in 2nd and you’ll be able to shift into third while on the back wheel

A dt125lc was 21 bhp back in the 80s when not restricted, maybe the later models had more power, seams a bit optimistic to me, great fun bikes though...

Second gear it and keep your foot ready on rear break to stop you going to far over learn how to use the throttle in with rear break for wheelie control 👍🏻 enjoy and make sure your in a safe area when practicing 👍🏻

No way that's 33hp 😄I had a DT 125 LC MK3 with the valve done and it would have slaughtered yours. I never once had to use the clutch to wheelie either, once the powerband kicked in the front wheel came up. It sounds like this is just geared lower to give the illusion of more power. I'd get that dyno'd if I were you to see what is is actually making!!

Learn to clutch it up, my mate used to hit wheelies 60+ on his but he did have a big bore kit. Sweet little bikes tho id love one but insurance companies know rightly there more than 15hp 😂

I had 4 DT125R, they looked a bit better I don’t know why they changed the plastics, I just used to open power valve fully, my mate had one with a Electric power valve mine was faster with out it, I never changed back sprocket to a bigger one I wish I tried it

nice bike. I have a dt 125 lc mk3, full power with working ypvs and that put's out 16.8bhp at the rear wheel on the dyno after an engine rebuild :o)

Mate, the part at 1:25, that the exact motion you wanna do when doing wheelies.. Instead of already being in the powerband you want to be right before it and put all your weight on the rear.

Dt’s will barely push 23 full power. My cagiva mito (notoriously one of the top 3 fastest 125’s) pushed out 27 at the rear wheel with no mods, just de restricted.

it's better that you lift the gas and not the clutch. use your body with your arms and pull hard, with your hips give a push from the tank to the "rear" saddle always keep your foot on the brake bro!

Cluch up second gear about 6-7 thou full throttle n catch it and go for it buddy

You don't have 33bhp and you will never reach more than 26-27bhp without installing the Zeeltronic CDI, change compression ratio, reeds, Carburettor..

Nice - Dan, what do they sell for in the UK ? How much is a good used one ? I want one.

to wheelie better, you need to sit further behind. looks like you sit to much forward it is also easyer to get the feel of rear brake when you sit more at the back m8

I had a dt mx 125 back in the 80s unrestricted 75 mph 2 up, powerband would kick in 1st gear rapid as f@#k
