I had a knee reconstruction in July 2023 due to having 20 dislocations and a tear in my medial collateral ligament so i related heavily to this!! Sam when you said like you forget how everyday things are typically so easy then they become super hard and painful. I felt that!! I used to cry just about everyday after surgery. You’re so lucky to have so many special people around you while you heal! I had moved cities a couple months before surgery so found myself on my own which created a whole different set of challenges to navigate.

Enjoy the small wins and continue to document them!! This is what i did and i found it super useful through rehab. On days I would get upset because I wasn’t as strong as i used to be. I would just look back on videos and photos to see how far I’ve actually come!

From a fellow dancer congrats on your first injury! Super impressive to have made it this long without. Wishing you a happy and solid recovery. And Tegan probably knows this, but don’t rush it! It’s worth taking the extra time in recovery. ❤

From what I've learned in my past couple of years, those types of injuries never come without a reason. It's like a sign.They're basically there to 'tell' you that you have to slow down for a bit and stop putting so much pressure on yourself and on your body. It's difficult, and recovery is going to feel like centuries instead of a couple of weeks, but you'll get there. It's just an obstacle in your life that you need to overcome, and you're going to get out of it stronger than ever. It's though, but you can do it! 💗

A few years ago I went in for anterior cruciate ligament surgery. Good rehabilitation is the key to everything.

For me, the Rybka twins are amazing girls.

Omg!! I can definitely relate to this video! I play basketball and I just got out of a boot. It is extremely hard, but you just have to take the injury day by day. It's really great that Sam has the support system that she does, because some people don't have that. However as I said you just have to take it slowly, don't rush the process. I hope you get better Sam, and Teagan is an awesome sister!!❤❤
