How much truth is there to the accusation that Germany's AfD is not just a right-wing extremist party but crosses the line into neo-Nazism?

The longer europe ignores its imigration issues, the more right wing europe will become. Left parties should address the immigration issues to stop this this trend.

If people have fears over immigration and those fears are ignored by mainstream parties then they will go and vote for someone who doesn’t ignore those fears.

The solution is simple: listen to your citizens when you are on government. Poor governance makes the radicals to rise.

Instead of accusing AfD and its politics, you should look at yourselves to see your mistakes. The real problem is you and your politics who made Afd stronger.

You can be anti-racist AND anti-illegal immigration at the same time. They are not mutually excusive

the afd wouldn't exist if the other parties had an even remotely sensible migration policy

How will a country continue to call itself a representative democracy if it winds up trying to disenfranchise what turns out to be its second largest party?

Maybe if yall stopped labeling everything far right and actually listened to people's grievances you wouldn't be in this position

Absolutely *ZERO* analysis of why the Right is rising in Germany (and the rest of the EU member states). Sarrazin has been talking/writing about it for years.

Imagine thinking you can just ban an entire wing of the political spectrum without consequences

Germany has the right to love its country and its people, its has the right to protect its culture with out being called racist or being reminded of a time that has nothing to do with today...

Not a single sentence in this video to explain why any population should be forced to accept unlimited immigration.

Failing to engage in *that* discussion and labelling anyone who disagrees as "extremists" will only help to fuel the cycle further by presenting themselves as "victims", as the expert at 4:00 understands.

there is nothing radical about wanting to remain a homogenous nation with traditional values. Germany is not an immigrant nation like the U.S. or Australia and has no obligation to transform itself into something the people don't want just so corporations can exploit cheap labor and ease of transport of goods.

Germany claiming to have freedom of expression while indicting people for exercising it is hilarious.

The more you call normal worries far right. The more you push people to real far right parties.

This is seriously the worst reporting I have seen in a while. Which is a shame, because till now, I watched DW News from time to time as a relevant source of information. This perception is forever broken for me now, this is a lost cause. How about you cut the hypocrisy and ask why the preferences of this party are growing so much in recent years? Wishing best of luck, seems Germany really need an Alternative. Greetings from a neighboring Czechia, wishing not to lose Germany as itself forever.

DW is becoming the France 24 of Germany.

Is this supposed to be unbiased journalism?

I love how Alternative For Germany has literal state-owned media going after it

When your own government screws you in multiple ways there is obviously going to be a reaction. I can see it from outside Germany that you are being roundly f’ed, with full complicity of the ruling parties.
It didn’t need to be this way, Spengler warned us of the general direction of the malaise and Germany seems to be making that extra effort to self harm.
