Phreak did a bit of an oopsie by saying that instead of pinging Karthus' ult to let him know when to use it, you can just type "Karthus ult" in chat, this alongside all the removal of pings and communication got the entire League subreddit memeing on the situation.

Honestly, phreak deserves any ounce of backlash he can get. The past few patches he was trying to gaslight the community about the validity of the changes. Usually he's pretty neutral/descriptive, but when it comes to communication, he is just simply wrong. The pings were a blessing for the game as a whole, not only soloQ, but even in competitive 5v5s. You could communicate tactical and important stuff fast while keeping comms clear for more advanced coordination. But they really show that they rather dont want the community to communicate at all then risk hurt feelings over pings.

As for the main point of my chat, I would like to make a shameless request of you, dear undead fellow. I've noticed the fact that the enemy wilderness roamer who continuously plays in the forests of these summoners rift has been left with minimal amounts of health points after that last quarrel we've had for the draconic beeing. For this case I would suggest you use your unrivaled ability of thy R key on your keyboard, due to the fact that It may perish that FUCKING rengar that has been having a great time jumping on me on every possible opportunity he finds.

it's really disturbing and heartbreaking that someone so out of touch with the game is allowed to direct its biggest and most hurtful changes and still keeps his job. I doubt it will happen but i really hope someone at riot considers what they are doing to their game and think about a shakeup in positions. i believe there are good riot employees more suited for the job like august for example.

They will do everything and anything to limit pings, stop pings, limit chat etc, but won’t do anything against people who run it down which has always been the MOST toxic thing.
