ACLU warns new push to alter Illinois' biometric privacy law would benefit big tech

The American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois warned that a pair of proposals House Republican Jim Durkin is pushing in Springfield would weaken the state's Biometric Information Privacy Act, which was the basis for a class action lawsuit against Facebook.
