I am coming to Koh Samui in May, will stay there for 40 days. Can you give me some tips and info, what should I know before arriving there? Thank you in advance.

Interesting choice of beaches…I’ve swam at the first three and they had one thing in common…rough sand and once you got past waist deep in the ocean, the sea bed was mud..not sand.😮

Fisherman's Village -- quaint?
...yeah, it's a great spot to visit -- especially for the night market, but not at ALL how I'd describe it.

Thanks for the tip on Ban Tai and Bang Po...
I'm returning for an extended stay this winter -- I usually stay in the east end of Maenam, at Silent Beach Treehouse.

I look forward to visiting these other two spots you mentioned.

And I'm interested in your guidebook (app) -- there's SO much more of Koh Samui that I've yet to explore -- that will come in handy on my next trip.
