Dylanaraps will make some really amazing software like pywal, neofetch and pfetch and then other times he just likes to mess and see what's possible and that's how we got shfm a terminal file manager that takes the idea of minimalism and takes it almost as far as it can go even further than fff.

3:26 - I recnetly found out you can do the same with cd command itself ("cd -" will jump you back and forth one directory) :)

Thanks for the apps you are demoing! As a Windows user using bash in Win 10 it is great to find all apps that can make life easier as a developer. I love your videos. :-)

Nice. I’m watching this video on Dylan’s KISS Linux distro. Maybe I’ll have a go at shfm. I’m not an extreme minimalist, but I do like simplicity :)

It might not be very practical, but it's so cool considering it's just posix shell

Nice find. I actually find it fun (but still frustrating) to restrict myself to POSIX shellscript.

fff user here, is there any other difference than how it's written or are they the exact same?

i just don't understand these minimal file managers. after switching to using the terminal for most things, it seems like an unnecessary extra step to leave the shell to do such a simple thing as list or move files. for me, using the terminal eliminated my need or desire for a file manager.

You can't call yourself a minimalist and be running neofetch in your terminal. When are you going to grow up and get rid of that silliness?

When something is this minimal, it becomes bloat
