The real reason the full metal Phantom Orion couldn’t outlast the original isn’t necessarily because of the extra weight, but because of how that weight is distributed. The reason Phantom Orion is such an incredible stamina type isn’t because of the Bearing Drive (though it does contribute to Orion’s great stamina). It’s because of the design of the 4D Phantom wheel. Since the core is made of plastic, that means 95% of the weight is at the very edge, increasing centripetal force and causing the bey to spin longer. By making the core and clear wheel metal, that amazing weight distribution disappears and brings most of the weight back to the center. This lowers the amount of centripetal force the bey is able to produce and will naturally not spin as long. Hope someone found this interesting at least. If you’re still reading, hi! Phantom Orion is my all time favorite beys and it low-key makes me wonder why Dr Ziggurat didnt hire Chris to be a part of Team Star Breaker. Maybe because Chris won't like the idea of the arrangement system? Because he's a blader that battle with his heart and spirit.

Regular phantom isn't losing just because of it's middle weight is way lesser which makes all centrifugal force towards it's metal ring and bearing helps it to run even more. Not just in anime but in real world the phantom orion's design is remarkable.

It looks like the tip on the metal Orion has a higher pitch, as in sharper. If you notice the metal one tends to tilt itself more often than regular Orion. I'd love to see a flat out comparison, like how long each of them spins, which has more recoil, etc. You could do it in shorts of you don't want to make avideo

Outward weight Distribution is one of the key factors to Orion's stamina...That's why it has a plastic ring/frame in the middle...

clash sound was very good, i remember when i used to battle with my friends, all of our beyblades were battle hardened. and modded with special clay to increase weight and absorb shock from the inside. L Drago and Orion sound exactly like that. keep it up man very good video

Here's my reasons why the regular phantom wins:

- the phantom wheels core frame is plastic, which creates more outward rotational inertia as a side-effect.

- B:D being plastic also reduces weight in the center mass of phantom, altogether with said Fusion Wheel, this makes all the primary rotational mass gather on the metal frame of phantom, which is great for stamina.

L.A.D. Nebula Ring: This used as a final survival technique where Phantom Orion FMC utilizes its tip to allow the rest of the bey to free spin for a bit of extra stamina. (This can also be done by basic Phantom Orion).

The standard Phantom Orion has one big advantage. Since the plastic core of the phantom wheel is... Well plastic, all of The weight is on the outside which creates more centrifugal force. So its not just The total weight, its where The weight is focused

Well, there IS a noticeable difference in both the sharpness of the tip as well as the balance of the bey as a whole. You could see several instances where the bey was shakey when it shouldn't have been.

With the full metal beys I wish you’d use less stock combos and lean further towards combos built to potentially beat them while remaining thematic? A veriaries combo with Metal Face and maybe RF would have been more interesting? And I DEFINITELY would love to see a revisit of the full metal beys but with you trying to make them as competitive as possible! (Probably that means a return to plastic final survive for L drago 😭😭)
