I lost my vegetarian card at 5 guys. and I love that they fill your bag with the remaining fries in the basket lol. so you essentially get 2 orders of fries for one. the food is double what you get elsewhere which is why it's so pricey.

I live in New England so In-and-Out doesn't exist here, but I do have three Five Guys within a fifty miles of my house.... therefore my only logical conclusion is that Five Guys is better.

I've had In and Out fries before, and without the rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia that she has, I can tell you that "potatoey flavor" is just an overwhelming amount of gritty starch.

In n out is basic to the point where they started drenching everything in thousand island dressing and fried onions to mask the average-ness. Cali people overrate the hell out of it as do people visiting Cali but us transplants know it's trash. Worst fries out there too I can't believe you said they're on the same level as 5 guys lmao

California girl, high five! Emmy, you should try "extra toast" so the bun doesn't get soggy. In N Out potatoes are seasonal; when their premium variety is in season the fries can't be beat, otherwise they're just sort of regular fries. Chili peppers and a side of pickles are a must! INO wins because: drive-thru and smiles.
