Music City's trumpets only play on 3Cs and larger. The 3rds and 2nds were all on 1.5Cs and the 1sts were on 3Cs and 1.5Cs.

@NYtrumpet12 That was his problem, im not going to say names, but he was on an allen vizutti. This year we are ALL on 3c or larger. You will be Pleasently suprised at our improvement from last year to now.

It worked out well for them though. Now they're a legitimately large corps, with a very promising future.

They are big in numbers but they still got beat by a corps who is a quarter of there size. AKA 7th Regiment! That goes to show you its that small corps can be just as good as bigger corps its just harder. Also the trumpets might sound better if you put them on bigger mouthpieces and not playing some lead jazz MP so you can play higher and longer. Makes your tone really thin and not full, big and dark as you can see. They should probably stay in open class for a while.

Yeah, this was their third year as a corps. But their 2012 show wrecked a ton of other corps man. They're still young, but they show promise.

in 2011 they tried for size and filled holes just weeks before finals. 2012 was a lot more successful and they sounded a lot better.
