0:53 #3 This is a good reason why you shouldn't go through stale yellows. It was yellow for 3 seconds before he entered the intersection and it was almost 5 seconds from yellow until the accident. Yes the turning driver is untimely at fault, but if you can avoid a collision you should.

1:55 I had similar happen behind me in the winter recently. I was slowing early to take a turn because it was late in the evening and the roads were icy. Hell of a snowstorm going on and i just happened to glance in my rearview as a woman swerved sharply to avoid me. She spun out, and ended up backwards in the northbound lane. I carefully got her to the gas station right there at the turn and made sure she was okay.

Poor girl was shaking so bad. She had just moved to Colorado from Cali a week before and never had snow like we had before. Thankfully she listened to all the advice I had to offer, we both calmed down and headed our separate ways.
