Man we always have absolute world class goal keeper. Convincing Manuel Neuer to join FC Bayern München was a world class transfer and changed the entire game...Kahn was a radical leader, was highly respected and incredible on the line and in his prime the best in the air.... His charisma was important. Enemy teams knew not to mess with Kahn.

Neuer is an entirely different goal keeper that combines charisma, incredible in the air and one of the best. What makes him world class is his modern synthesis of world class goal keeper and actually having Libero type qualities...the center backs know they can pass the ball even under pressure back to Neuer...and his long range passing qualities make him a weapon concerning counter attacks.

Manuel Neuer is the only goalkeeper that has the ability to close the hole that was left after Kahn retired...he also became an absolute legendary player presenting his style of playing his position.

I doubt we will have such luck again after he retires...I don't see anyone on the level of Kahn in his prime or Neuer right now...

ich hab bayern wirklich noch nie gemocht, aber dieser mensch war von klein auf mein sportliches idol. er hat mit seiner art meine ganze fußballzeit geprägt und diese art, für den erfolg bis über die grenze zu gehen, weil es nichts anderes als den sieg geben kann, hat meinen ganzen weg bis heute geprägt. für mich bis heute der mit abstand beste torwart der welt. keiner hatte so eine präsents auf dem platz wie kahn!
