Bars and Melody: AGT The Champions - Lighthouse (27/1/2020)

Bars and Melody—Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan—perform in front of the America’s Got Talent: The Champions judges.

Leo and Charlie were Simon Cowell's golden-buzzer act in Britain’s Got Talent 2014 and ended up in third place in the BGT Final. Here they perform their own song Lighthouse as they compete against other Got Talent champions from across the world in this AGT contest.

Bars and Melody are Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, a rapping and singing duo who were Britain's Got Talent 2014 finalists.

After the show, Bars and Melody were signed by Simon Cowell. Their début, anti-bullying single Hopeful came out in July 2014.

Leo and Charlie have since released further singles, their début album 143 and their Teen Spirit EP, have toured extensively across the world; and have a huge fandom, not only in the UK, but also, especially, in Germany, Poland and in Japan, where they have made two albums with Avex, one of Japan’s largest record labels.

Bars and Melody’s latest album Generation Z came out September 2017. They are currently working on their next album due to be released next year.

I feel so bad the bars and melody and I’m pissed at Howie but in my opinion the song didn’t fit properly I thought they were gonna do thousand years they did seem pretty nerves when they went on stage and I can feel that but it’s ok your gonna face challenges in life and they will be tough but you will always get through them. Tonight might of not been the night but their is always room for improvement and I hope bars and melody go thru to the semi’s

Ik it’s 2022 and it’s been almost 3 years but, Howie broke my heart😖💔 Leo and Charlie’s faces just made me cry. I can’t believe Howie had the gut to say “thats something I can watch on YouTube”. When I first watched this I thought it was quite funny but after watching it 47 times I feel kinda gutted for them. I don’t think lighthouse was the best song for this kind of show... I felt the nerves more from Charlie than Leo...

I literally wanted to come through that tv screen and throw hands with Howie for buzzing them! I thought Howie was alright, but now I hate him. Sure it wasn’t their best performance and prolly not the right song to fit with the situation, they shouldn’t have got buzzed like that.
