Often times we as fellow Americans, brothers & sisters, like to focus on ALL the things and issues that make us different, BUT we challenge you today to stop and appreciate each other for all of the amazing things we ALL have in common!

This song brings the power of unity to life!

As a Vietnam Vet and one who was called a Baby Killer and spat on when I came home, this hit a soft spot. It is people like you that a lot of us gave our lives for and would still do it. I'm Southern and the color of a person's skin does not define what your hearts is because as they say, We All Bleed Red. Bless you girls and may your fame and fortunes grow day by day.

The lyrics brought tears to my eyes...they are what this country should be!! Born & raised in Wisc, in Calif since 71. My street is a United Nations of color!! We all watch out for each other, the young ones & the elderly (me). I have learned so much from them all !

I'm a Latina immigrants and I live in a country town near Wisconsin. Even n though I like country as music I always avoided it because the people that have always been racist towards me in this country town is what they listen to. so as a way to protest for myself I decided not to enjoy it not to give it a chance not to listen to it. But after seeing you ladies it showed me that music isn't for some people and not for others and you better believe I'm going to be jamming out in my car making all these country people listen to your music and appreciate the works and arts of other people. I wish y'all the best. You have a fan out In bumblefuck Illinois :)

I'm a 100% combat disabled Marine from Vietnam. Many times over 50 years I have suffered and cried over the treatment VN veterans received. Not feeling sorry for myself but collectively we were treated like dirt. Chapel Heart, you ladies are a renewing source for me. God Bless your sweet spirits, your beautiful music and for spreading goodness. Please be real so I can visit your music and know America has a chance because of wonderful people like you. God Bless. This is one of many poems I wrote that shows the treatment and the cause for pain we received.

BABY KILLER

Baby Killer!
Is that what you called me?
How good for you,
That it's not true.

Baby Killer!
That is what you called me.
Is that what you see,
When you look into me?

I went to war in your place,
Because you were afraid to go.
You hid behind groups of peace,
While in the name of peace, you rioted.

I shed my blood on the battlefield,
For an ideal in which this country was founded,
While you wore flowers in your hair,
And smoked pot, where love abounded.

I wore camouflage utilities,
And slept on a blanket in the rain.
While you wore peace signs,
And slept in communals.

I gave my last measure of bravery,
To drag my comrades out of danger.
And you call me Baby Killer?
How good for you that it's not true!

The most beautiful song I've ever heard. Not only is it country music, but it's also what we need today. "American Pride." Thank you, Chapel Hart. I'm so proud of you.

Wow ladies. Y'all spoke to me on so many levels with this one. From my life long connections and love for people of color around me, even when elders in my home spoke wrongly of them, to being a football coach's wife for the last 24 years, living under the Friday Night Lights in Texas. Beautiful. May I get to see you in person one day and hug your necks. So proud of y'all!- Heather
