No country in the world except America would issue a compensation claim before the criminal court case, and then complain about jury being affected . 😳 OMG

Family will now fight for the money... Sucks that we pay taxes to fix criminal police problems.

They gave up that 27 million because audio and filming don't lie. It's the tax payers money. If they took that money out of the officers budget. You would have only 30% of officers left on duty. That amount of money given will get that officer a 3rd degree conviction. Which is messed up.😢🙃⚡

I have nothing against him .Sorry what happened, BUT!!! to decide 27 million for a DRUG ADDICT< JAIL BIRD, it's to much. From now one, any family, NOT ANY, who WANT TO BECAME A MILLIONAIRE, THE SYSTEM SHOW THE WAY.

This guy needs to be made an example of. The jurors “may have a bad image of him” there’s literally a video of him w his knee on his neck.

His family sold him out. Very sad because that racist garbage ex-cop needs to face life in prison...

I'm amazed but sadly not surprised with all the negative comments about George Floyd's death. The woman caught in adultery was getting ready to be stoned before Christ said, "Let he who is among you without sin cast the first stone." There is no big or little sin. No matter what Mr. Floyd did he didn't deserve to die that way. We're so quick to put our mouths on people and forgetting we're not perfect and by the Grace of God are not treated as our sins deserve 🙏🕊️

No disrespect about the payout, but why $27 MILLION? If Floyd had lived, no way would he had earned that kind of money in his lifetime! Why so much? Just very curious, especially when this payout is on the backs of the Taxpayers of his State! If anyone should be held accountable, it should be the Officier's who stood by and allowed this man to be killed the way he was, this is NOT the Taxpayer's fault, nor responsibility, it's the responsibility of these Cops and the Union who ALLOWS behavior like this! SUE THEIR ORGANIZATION, NOT THE taxpayers of the State!

If the guy had fentanyl in his system, then the cause of death shouldn’t be in question. It looks like he thought he was going to get caught with drugs, so he swallowed them all, and then died.
But the basic concept of charging Chauvin for murder – it’s just so crazy.
