6 day sky timelapse around midsummer in Oulu, Finland (2024)

Timelapse video of the sky in Oulu, Finland spanning dates surrounding the summer solstice and Juhannus in June 2024.

Timelapse started at 16:56:34 on June 18th, 2024 and ended at 19:51:58 on June 24th, 2024, shot at 10 second intervals.

Images were shot on a Nikon D5200 camera with a Hähnel Captur Timer Kit (intervalometer), all seated on Kenro tripod. A total of 52 872 images were captured, which were compiled into a timelapse using Kdenlive. The date and time overlay was added using FFMPEG on a laptop running Debian, using the instructions provided by user Macondo_Cuanto on the KDE discussion forum [1]. I used the following modified commands to get the desired result in my video:
