jaguar xj8 x350/x358 key fob self setting

open the driver side door
pulling highbeam lever and holding
put the key and move to i position
and releas the highbeam lever
and quick flash highbeam 4 times
and you can hear horn once
after sound press lock button each key fob which you want to setting
(also you have to press lock button which in keybox)
and remove the main key from key box
you can hear the horn twice.
Finish self setting your jag key fob.

Mine chirped once and doesn’t do it again when I try to setup the second remote.

I tried but still the fob not working 😔 what can I do? Brand new battery on both remote controls.

turns out they don't always chirp - look for the security lamp flash on the dashboard instead if there is no chirp.

Why doesn't the car chime when the door is open and the key is in and turned?
