When Freddy activates he knows exactly where you are so whenever he laughs he B-lines straight towards where you are so it's best to keep your distance from him otherwise you'll meet a very quick fate. Keeping both doors closed is the best idea because if he's close enough to your security room to the point when he laughs he can instantly kill you, the best option is to close both doors so that until he laughs and camps at one of the doors you have some time to maybe keep the doors closed or maybe leave the security room so that you don't run out of power and so that he doesn't instantly kill you

So, Lumen is a feature in Unreal Engine that bakes lighting in real time which forces more CPU to be used which means worse performance so that's basically what Lumen is, it changes lighting in real time.
