So Ive been following your Ultimate guide to The Dark Tower series and it was pure delight having the subtle connections from the The Talisman and Black House in this book!

The Tick-Tock Man is one of the greatest antagonist names that I’ve come across. As this series unfolds (2/3 of the way through Wolves) I feel as if these worlds are blooming inside of me and me within these amazing and colorful worlds! I’ve never read anything like The Dark Tower and am so excited/sad to consider finishing it. I know I will re-read the series someday, but, next run, I plan to have read all of the corresponding books that will deepen the experience for me. I was too wrapped up and impatient to detour and read all of those other titles. Great review, Sai!

A gripping story from cover to cover, The Waste Lands damn well blew my socks off! The first half of the book, from Shardik to the Drawing, was such an incredible build up and payoff that I was both visibly and audibly stunned by it, multiple times, throughout. Then came the insane second half and from River Crossing to Lud to The Cradle to the bonkers I was at the edge of my seat with eyes that simply could not read the words on the page fast enough.
The ka-tet had tugged at the deepest recesses of my heart - and the story and concepts, of my mind. I’m just so incredibly thankful that I don’t have to wait several YEARS to start Wizard and Glass, I need to know what happens next!

I'm finally hooked. This book was great. So many questions though. So many... I wish they answer most of them before it's over.

Brilliant review of a great addition to the dark tower series.

I read the first 3 in about 1992. I couldn't feel the same way years later with the newer books but I'm glad I have that memory. The weirdness of the series isn't for everyone but I loved it.

Just finished it!
Almost the entire book is a perfection
So much stuff going on, I Loved it
(The only problem I have is with the very end and how weirdly they convince Blaine to do the competition)
But still such a good ride

I quite love your way of reviewing. I watch them however after I have read the books. excuse my Language on this but what the F*** was this book, a Suicidal train, how crazy can stories turn I wonder, after this one nothings weird anymore. Don't quite know what's the merrit of it is to you.. but I am following in Kings footsteps I.E. I take writing class at the moment and if it doesn't work out for me, in spectrum of being a writer, I can dive even deeper in loving stories and pro's and such. at the moment I chose another book to read, at the moment I am reading James Bond Casino Royale By Ian Fleming. Highly reccommend that one (the book, also the movie with Daniel Craig, btw) If you want to dive more into 007 the books are a great PoV, If you get where I come from. after I will continue with the Stephen King Stuff, but still don't know which one to pick up as the very first from now on....
