Is DBS: Superhero CANON?

Is Dragon Ball Super Superhero Canon? If so why does it feel so weird? Why don't we hear about Ultra Instinct Goku or Ultra Ego Vegeta? Moro or Granolah?

I think it feels a little disjointed because of the time skip, it it was set directly following the most recent story events then I think it would be fine.

It really just feels like there's two different canons at this point. What this series really needs is some form of communication between the movie makers, Toriyama and Toyotaro. Because it doesn't feel like any of them are working together.

The major change I expect in the dbs super hero manga arc is not hiding the latest arcs (moro and granolah) and perhaps we will finally see broly in the manga

Tbh the only things they can do with the manga though is probably only give hints as to what ends up happening in Superhero like a character mentioning Red Ribbon Army or them saying Gohan has more potential he hasn't tapped into yet

The problem now is that with Toriyama's death we will no longer have a fully canonical series being developed. Of course, we have the works he did before he died, such as DB Daima. But what about when these works are finished? It is best to consider the Dragon Ball manga as the base canon, and the other works can be separated and have their own canon. Although the Super Hero movie is canon in the anime and manga, for me just replicating the movie in the manga was very strange, since some elements previously presented were simply forgotten. It would have been better to have adapted the movie so that it fit better into the manga's universe.

It’s canon. The movie was being produced before the release of DBS: Broly because that’s how production works in big scales. DBS: Broly, may have not been released but it was already scripted, and storyboarded. The reason we see Broly in DBS: Super Hero is because the production team already knew what transpired in the previous film.

Even if a bunch of stuff changes, people forget, the anime and manga is not just the manga getting animated, it's 2 different continuities using the general outline of things that Toriyama gives them, so even if Super Hero isn't canon to the MANGA, it's still canon to the anime, it's like how comics have a bunch of different stories using the same general outline, and even if there are sifferences, they're all still canon, because they don't need to be canon to each-other.

Pretty sure it takes place after Moro and Granolah arc the movie just didn't show ui and ue since anime watches would be confused about ultra ego and Moro etc..

Honestly, this movie needs to be adapted in the anime, that way it can make some sense.

I think the strategy they're going with is making Gohan like Superman. As in, before Gohan was too weak of a character to do anything, so they never expanded on his character. Now, Gohan is as strong as he needs to be in a situation because his power hasn't been defined yet, so they'll never expand on his character.
