Meet Krista Brant - Navy Veteran and Student Veterans of America Vice President

Krista Brant, a Navy veteran, Navy Reservist, military spouse and mother, is well known around the ODU Military Connection Center (MCC). After serving 11 years as a nuclear electronic technician in the Navy, Brant realized that working in the engineering field wasn’t for her. Krista, stationed in Norfolk at the time, enrolled at Old Dominion University and made it a point to find every single resource the campus had to offer. After ODU, Krista wants to work in a place that values diversity, and wants all of their employees to feel a sense of belonging.
