As a 31 year aerospace toolmaker, I can tell you that those "customized components" are works of art. Just go back to 4:41. It is the epitome of form following function. There are no sharp edges on the brake pedal. The milled pocket between the fulcrum and the effort is installed there to reduce weight without reducing strength. There are so many details in this build that have only to do with the overall performance of the bike, but because of that, they are absolutely pieces of art. The swingarm especially. I could jabber for hours about it all. Thank you for showing those things to us.

Thanks Ryan, great technical summary! You mentioned the requirement to start with a "stock frame" ... did you learn how or if they address frame flexibility or wobble issues common to H-D baggers that bolt-on hardware from aftermarket companies like True-Track is designed to remedy?

2 Reservoirs on handlebars but a cable clutch? Maybe one for front brakes and one for rear. Very cool to see up-close shots of these bikes.

Great video... this race program benefits the consumer bikes as they transfer the learned technology. The stock M8s run way too hot. I want to see HD incorporate that horn side scoop to help cool the rear cylinder on stock engines. My prediction is HD is designing a full water cooled engine for the touring models and possibly the softails. They have to in order to keep up with EPA standards and compete with Indian water cooled technology. The days of the air cooled engines are numbered. Today's HD engines have less cooling technology than a 1600cc VW engine, which has an oil cooler with fan assistance. I take it this 131 is not the new VVT engine?

🤔Hmmm, I’m pretty certain with those header primary sizes and that exhaust note at full song north of 7500 I’m suspecting that there’s a lot more than 150 horse pressures in that thing. But I get it🤐🤫🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️😂👍🏾
