+JuanBagnell It's me or the iphone have a really weird bokeh effect at 1:23 ? overall I prefer the exposure of the iphone and how it handles the colors of the flowers. At 2:46, the g4 managed to get a stunning level of detail and a really pleacent blur. The G4 tends to overexpose and i dont like the jelly efect produced by the OIS. On the other hand, the iphone seems to look kinda cool temperature. At night, the g4 is much better overall.

You guys keep saying that the 6S was more true to color. I don't understand, the clips looked really warm to me, it is like someone slapped on a yellow filter. I guess I would have to be there to see, but it appeared that many of the clips from the 6S were highly saturated or overexposed at times. The G4 seemed a bit dull at times, but it was more true to what I like to see while shooting or capturing video. Low light was a K.O. for the G4. If I am confused, please explain. I am more of a photography hobbyist than a avid shooter with a trained eye.

Anyone noticed G4 has a wider shot too. It fits more in the image.

Well G4 is really really nice but I am more of a lumia person I would wait for the 950 XL and then decide

Both are very good but I think the G4 wins. Especially in low light the G4 absolutely destroyed the iPhone

*U think I should get the G4 now (currently have the G2) or wait for the G5 whenever that comes out ( December maybe)*

I really like the stereo microphones of the g4 compared to the iphone 6s mono muffled sound. I just don't like the wobble at the edges of the G4. It's like the OIS of the G4 make the rolling shutter even more apparent even though the shots are still. The G4 tend to blow out whites, which is bad. I would rather have a darker image that keeps the white details and then do shadow corrections in post. The G4 looks a lot sharper in this video. I still think I would prefer the 6S simply because there don't seem to be as much wobble.
*Edit* - Forgot to mention that I would really prefer the G4 field of view. It just captures so much more of the landscape.
*Edit2* - Just watched some of your iPhone 6S camera review and can see we share the same thoughts on the subject of the iPhone camera :)

This was an awesome video. I found it interesting the way both phones performed quite similar in certain scenes yet they were complete opposites in other scenes. Very cool video !

Samsung S6's, Lg G4's, and iPhone 6S' cameras have their strengths and weaknesses. I cannot say which one is the best, but can say you cannot go wrong with any of the three. from G4 owner~

Everything looked much better on LG G4. iPhone camera has good quality but man the LG looked like a professional full frame big camera cinematic quality. Thanks for the video.

I've used the G3 and the G4, both great phones with great cameras, but the G4 repeats G3's mistakes. Overexposure with little dynamic range, making images dull. the focus, however, is amazing. this is something the iPhone lacks. With the video, I hate how the aperture keeps opening and closing for the G4. The G-Series has so much potential, that's what I love about it. But it always seems to come up a little short behind expectation.

Hi +JuanBagnell Great Videos!!
I have a question.. if i want a good/professional quality audio of the videos which I shoot with G4, will adding an external microphone does the job? or should I have to use any software along with it? also what about the connector, what kind of connector should I use?

The hardware on the G4 is superior in everyway and it shows. There's more detail, waaaay shallower depth of feild and a nice creamy bokeh in the macro shots, the audio is more crisp, the contrast & colours are excellent & it does a much better job in low light. The 6S's shooter is excellent too & it's really not far behind but the G4 is the clear winner here.

It's a mixed bag. There were points where I preferred G4, and other points where I liked the 6S better. I liked the 6S's output better in pretty much all of the low light situations, though.

Also, I wanted to ask, what is the sensor size on the 6S? It looks like it might be the same as the G4, just with a smaller aperture, but I'm not quite sure, I'm not very good with cameras.

Cool vid, thanks mate.
Owning a G4 i really love the camera....but yet only know how to use it in Auto mode. Would love to see a video on how to use the manual mode and all its features, and what they mean. One day, if you get bored perhaps? 😛

Just wanted to pont out that you can use Filmic Pro (IOS) for the Iphone 6S to record 4K at a higher bitrate of up to 150 Mbps instead of the 51 Mbps if not mistaken. I'm currently using Cinema 4K (android) on my LG G4 and recording at 162 Mbps and the difference is phenomenal! It creates 4K videos with less distortion. Cheers everyone!

this isn't even a competition honestly the g4 takes the win.

obviously the g4 is better at low light conditions. 6s is pretty decent all the times but for me, 6s's colors sometimes are too oversaturated, or undersaturated. maybe because the g4 has a color spectrum sensor. i vote for the g4

bokeh of the LG is so much more superior. Apple color rendition seems nicer. how ever, I can manually adjust the color but bokeh adjustment is never going to be as natural. so, LG!
