Jake my channel was very heavily inspired by what you do on Vsauce 3, my big budget videos have tried to match the quality and time that go into any one of your videos.


When I launched my patreon the only way I have felt comfortable doing it is because my goal was that the money would directly go to support those kind of videos. My viewers have been incredibly kind and yours will be even more so because they'll know they have an opportunity to help make the things that you make for them to see.


I get the feeling of discomfort in asking but it's 100% okay, no one is obliged to give but they will because you make something and they (I) would want to be a part of helping that happen. :)

I understand your feelings about patreon. A lot of youtubers feel like that but you gotta understand that your videos are far more than just a video. Most of them are like mini movies on youtube. And they are amazing. They make us learn, they make us laugh, they make us watch in awe. Your content is great and a lot of people feel like is worth supporting. Your videos are reward enough.
