I’ve have coupled this with a humidity sensor so the towel rails only comes on for an hour if

A the humidity jumps (the shower is on)
B the heating isn’t already on (as my towel rail is dual fuel).

you should set this up so that either occupancy or humidity measurements detect that a shower has been used to switch on the towel rail.

cool didn't know these existed, I used a smart relay to do the same, this would have been a simplier solution.
