Online OSCE Tutoring
This week I have done a lot of online tutoring. Online tutoring can be effective but it must be interactive and practical. Sitting listening to a PowerPoint is not an effective use of your time or money and all this work can be done in advance so sessions are focused on doing
This week I have had:
2 new tutoring clients starting their OSCE sessions we focus on the assessment station first, looking at different scenarios and identifying nursing priorities for holistic assessment and practice NEWS2 and GCS documentation and additional assessment
2 clients coming to the end of their tutoring and practicing their stations to time with feedback.
1 client who trained elsewhere and has come to me for resit support. I answered lots of doubts and questions on the implementation station and we practiced different medication charts to time but also built confidence ready for the resit.
1 client who is self-studying but wanted to ask questions and practice specific stations with feedback.
