Delivering the fourth Budget of the year today (May 26), Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat announced that the government will extend the Jobs Support Scheme (JSS) by one month to cover all firms, with three new enhancements. This will cost S$2.9 billion.

The Fortitude Budget is Singapore's fourth this year and totals S$33 billion.

Merely 3.3% unemployment and all the hoohah? Something is not tallying. When essentially all businesses shutdown, only 3.3%??? Wow. Worse crisis since independence. 97% employed. So why the hoohah. Yet another 33billion? Reserved used again? *Singaporeans proven they are this smart.*

But most of them working for retail and restaurants etc... Foreigners. But only support for Singaporean. So for Company there are many things to loose still

No mention of people with special needs n handicap people who mostly work in eateries n cafes if the place they work in shuts down where do this vulnerable group go this will be very stressful for their parents n where n who will retrain n give them jobs again very dissaponted n sad 😔 govt forgot the most vulnerable group who have been working hard n honestly in eateries
