I've played it and it's really sad and isn't as child friendly as Undertale is but it's still worth a play even if it doesn't become a series.

Honestly the fact that people compare it to Undertale is silly. They're both pixel RPGs and have great soundtracks and story but that's where the similarities end. Omori has very heavy themes and downright chilling moments but it's one of the best games I've played in a LONG time. I really hope he gives it a shot!

“idk if I want to commit to that” will forever be a quote from Jack that I will cherish

The lack of story at the beggining is not only already charming and super fun, but also what makes the later revelations much more emotionally ressonant because of the time you spent with the characters. i hope he ends up playing it.

I played it and it's one of the best indie games I've ever had the chance to play.
The music is incredible, the artstyle is amazing, the gameplay is really well done, and the story is PHENOMENAL from the get go, it's so charming and also HORRIFYING

Idk if Sean reads these comments, but honestly none of what's said in this video is true other than it being a long game. It has a great message, a great story with great pace (except for the middle of the game, it's way too long) and it also is almost life changing in some ways. 100% worth a playthrough.

from my own experience, i just want to say that omori is just such an amazing game. i wouldn’t say it’s a long game at all and i don’t feel like it was slow in any way. i felt like the pace was perfect, and the gameplay is so interesting and the way they tell the story keeps you wondering what will happen next. it’s one of my favorite games because i love the music, i love the art style, the story, the humor, it has a good amount of horror/mystery, and that it had a really good message. and throughout the game you get to see how the main character grows as a person, and it’s just always a game that will be close to my heart and i really think it’s worth playing :) and if you ever wanted to play it on the channel i think it would be a lot of fun because there’s enough lines to give voices to like night in the woods and enough of a story to build theories on until the end of the game.

it holds a very deep and pretty realistic story of trauma. by how sean describes it, he hasn’t been spoiled yet. the game is extremely impactful and i feel like he should try it out

Omori has a lot more of a dark tone. Less like undertale, and more games like Lisa or Yume Nikki, where it has humor and surrealism despite the sensitive themes.
It does seem like the undertale situation where people would harrass creators who wouldn't play the game, but it's not like that.
Of course, we gotta respect Jack's opinion. If you haven't checked it out, do so. It's worth your time.

Omori has really left a deep impression on me, one of the most emotional games I have ever played. I truly hope Sean plays the emotional rollercoaster masterpiece of OMORI

As much as I want him to play the game, he presents a really good and understandable reason not to

Jack: "It's too long, I can't commit to that!"
Also Jack: Does full let's plays of Spider-Man, Elden Ring, and almost every Soulsborne game

I think Sean should play it, if he doesnt want to record a series on it he should do it off recording and enjoy it himself. I think it's a game he would fall in love with

He doesn't want to be waiting for something to happen

I mean he’s entirely not wrong by how long it takes cuz personally, if its in white space, we’re going nowhere unless we collect all the black keys. Its only fun if its Sunny awake cause “now we’re talking”. Omori was there to attempt dodging the topic by exploring white space.

Suddenly I like Jack more. Unironically him being honest about not wanting to commit to a game that long is how I feel about Omori as well.
Jack is cool is what I’m saying

I finished Omori in just 3 days. If anything, back when I just completed the game, I wished I had given it more time, so that I'd be able to enjoy it for longer.

I think it at least deserves to be given a chance. It has some heavy themes, but a great story and extremely lovable characters.
I'm a very emotional person but still had a great time playing it.

As an Omori fan who used to never want to play pixel RPG Games because it didn’t appeal to me, after watching people play Undertale I wanted to try and play something similar, by that time Omori was released and my friends all wanted me to play because they said it was a very interesting game. I went to play with the thought of “oh it’s just an Undertale clone” but no, it wasn’t close to a clone, the reason why everyone would assume it’s an Undertale clone was because it was developed during the time Undertale was popular and Toby Fox mentioning Omori.
I really wish Sean would play Omori because the story and the horror elements of it is just so awesome to find about the story of a teen boy trying to remember about his childhood (one thing I would prefer to that without spoilers is that he has somewhat of a disassociate amnesia) and the soundtrack really makes you immerse in it

I really wish people would stop telling him shit 😭 like let him look at a game and be like yep sure let’s do it. And not get war flash backs from other games that are “similar”
