I’m actually very tall and brandy and Melville is the best clothes store I have ever seen

The store is marketed towards petite girls just as Torrid is marketed towards plus size, but you don’t see us making hate videos about Torrid just because they don’t have XS…there are plenty of other stores so just don’t shop at brandy Melville! This is the only place that a lot of girls including me can find things that fit them.

i dont understand, i am a generally smaller girl (i am still growing) and i think this store is very nice for me because its hard to find clothes that usually fit but i hate the idea of one size fits all because thats not true one size doesnt fit all. i do think they would get so much more buisness if they just added sizes.

they definitely have a lot of different sizing they have oversized and some free sizes which you just have to check if you like the fit on you and plenty of stuff that isnt clothes thats cute. I got an oversized sweatshirt it was marked as a large/xl and could probably fit up to an xl to xxl. It’s probably a lot better to size like free size for the company to save money and it’s basically up to the customer to decide if the fit is good for them most of their stuff is stretchy and imo its a lot less stressful to shop vs sizes and deciding if something is too big or too small or if the fit is weird between sizes.

it's a branding tactic, it's meant to be one size so their brand is more "exclusive" :/

i definitely think they could have reworded the “one size fits most” to something like “tall petite” or something. although i hate the way they marketed this brand as a tall skinny person with very long legs i have a really hard time finding clothes. i usually have to size up to a large or extra large just for the legs and arms to fit me but then they are way to big in every other way. what i “like”about their brand is that the one size is meant to fit a range of people (in this case a xs, small, and medium usually” i find that all of those sizes fit me so it’s really nice to not have to worry about having to do a different size every time i want to order something. low key writing this like an essay but in conclusion i love their clothes not their brand because it is made longer and smaller for skinny tall girls to have a basic closet. thank you for listening to my rant i needed to get this off my chest. please let me know if any of what i said was hurtful that was not my intent.

My size is a xs-s but I’m 13 this isn’t fair especially since some people may have underlining medical conditions that affect their weight brandy has such cute clothes and everyone should be able to shop there!

Ive got one blue and white checkered skirt from here, I got it in a charity shop, I wouldn't buy it new, but it is adorable and I've goten compliments of how cute it is. But beyond basics I don't tend to buy new.

If you don’t fit these clothes, don’t shop here and don’t throw shade. Lots of people don’t fit in what plus size stores carry, and no one hates on them. It’s that simple.

I’m a M/L and I can fit most of their clothes, but also I think a lot of their stuff is baggy fit, but like it fits me and it’s still baggy so idk, maybe it’s the traveling pants magic 😅

it’s for one size but I think it’s good for teens and young adults who’s are at that age where they haven’t gotten thicker because my sister had a hard time finding clothes as a teen since she was tall and thin

I am a small but some clothes there are huge like some of the hoodies!
